20th Anniversary Gala Canceled!
Digital Celebration Launch on October 19, 2020

It is with regret that we must cancel the 20th Anniversary Gala for the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, which was scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2020. We are dedicated to public health, and due to the spread of COVID-19 in Arizona, we cannot safely host an event.

Although the Gala is canceled, we will still celebrate the achievements of the College’s inspiring 20-year history in a multi-media series we are calling “20 Days for 20 Years.” This will be a “virtual” celebration on the MEZCOPH website, with daily posts on our social media channels. We will highlight our Gala honorees, our community partners, and many of the milestones that make the College a leader in public health today. The "20 Days for 20 Years" celebration will launch on Monday, October 19, 2020, and will include digital events, videos, photos, and stories that will be shared through our College channels and with our media partners. Please check our website and our social media on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to celebrate with us!

Although this pandemic has forced the cancellation of our Gala, we take great pride in the history of the College, and in the many ways that our MEZCOPH colleagues and students have responded to help our community, our state, and our country through the COVID-19 crisis. We are making a difference, and we will continue to lead the fight for a healthier, more equitable world for all of us. This global health crisis has affected so many and global solidarity is still imperative.

Thank you again for your dedication and support of the College. We hope you will join us from the safety of your computer for our “20 Days for 20 Years” celebration of all we have accomplished together.

Sending you best wishes for your health and safety!
